Hello, I am a single mom of a 10 year old boy in the 4th grade. We were evicted in March of 2024 and have been living in a hotel ever since. I was working full time, but was fired the first week of April, after returning to work after my father passed away on Easter morning. I had some funding to allow us to stay in the hotel all this time, but now I am completely out. All the shelters in the area are full and I have absolutely no income now. I'm applying all day everyday for a job, but now I'm finding myself not being able to pay for the hotel. I am requesting funding to be able to stay in the hotel for the next 30 days to allow myself to obtain employment or find another place to live.
